Well known Canadian singer Adi Braun introduced the next song as a new song that she felt was one of the finest new songs she had heard recently.  It was a tender, lovely ballad entitled "Easy to Breathe" by Felix van Dijk who was in the audience. It had a wonderful refrain that stated "When I’m with you/it’s so easy to breathe".  The Metropolitan Room, NYC 10/26/07 Joe Regan, Cabaret Exchange.com

Absolute Power Pop Review, 2008:

Those of you who enjoyed last year's Steve Robinson disc (like me) will definitely want to check out this debut release from actor-turned-musician Felix van Dijk, a winning combination of pop and folky pop with a British sensibility. Notable is that none other than Paul McCartney added a chord or two to "This Lullaby", the kind of heartfelt ballad with which Sir Paul is more than familiar. But with or without a Macca contribution, this album stands on its own with quality tracks like the uptempo "Barefoot In The Sand", the breezy "Heart of Your World" and the wonderful ballad "Forever In My Heart". If your tastes run in this subgenre at all, you'll love this disc.

Daggerzine.com  CD Review 2008:

Felix van Dijk I assume is European and while he may be, he lives in NYC and creates some of the most finger-snapping, gentle pop I've heard in ages. And if I'm to believe what I've read, Paul McCartney contributed a chord to one of the tunes. The guy obviously has friends in high places but one listen to lovely pop tunes like "Forever in my Heart", "Barefoot in the Sand" or "This Lullaby" you'll know that famous friends or not, the guy has talent.
